In our last issue, (Lift-Report 4, p. [33] ff.), we presented the new modernisation concept for car doors, developed by the door experts from Meiller Aufzugtüren GmbH. Just to remind you: Meiller offers flexible solutions for car doors with several years under their belts that are now showing distinct signs of wear. They involve either exchanging the door mechanism, in which case the existing door panels and sills can remain in place, or the complete car door is replaced with standard Meiller door panels or panels with the dimensions of the existing ones (expected to be available from the fourth quarter of 2021).
