Sillight is an LED signal system that informs a lift user when the car door sill is not flush with the sill of the landing doors; in other words, the car is not flush with the floor.
When this occurs, there is a significant risk of tripping or stumbling at the sill or even falling into the lift car. For elderly lift users that poses a considerable risk of injury.

This possible lack of evenness in the “floor” is detected by the Sillight system using two magnetic switches. In such case, a bright LED strip will light up in the openings of the lift’s car toe guard in order to alert the user about the resulting unevenness.

The system is available for all types of doors and sills.
